I had NO idea. All I can think of is Margaret's little boy wondering where his mommy and aunt were. OMG. Subhuman beings sicken me to my core and break my heart

Right? Me, too. That's all I could think of. That little boy wondering where Mommy is. And also, her sister's husband coming home from work to find the house empty. Not knowing where his wife and her sister are. And multiply that by thousands of women. Just the sheer trauma created for no good reason. All those assaults in the name of "morals" and it makes me so angry.

Right, Linda? And we don't even know. They could bring that crap back anytime. It's never been repealed. A few states have amended the laws to specify that they are not gender biased, but they are still on the books in every state.

The reasoning behind the American Plan is alive and well on our Supreme Court. Women are still perceived to be basically evil. One can follow the thread from the story of Adam and Eve (whose fault was it?) to modern times. In many ways little has changed.
