To that end, you might compare notes with Julia E. Hubbel. She's done Patreon. I support a few writers both there and here on Substack, and in one case both. I would recommend an annual option, as well as monthly, on either platform. Rationale being that I may have $50 to spare now, but a $5/month is easily cancelled at any time, which leaves you in somewhat of a lurch.
