OMG, I'd be terrified to send my grandson by parcel post...but of course it's a different era. A lovely reminder of the good in people

Right? Can you imagine handing over the wee one to the mail carrier and waiting to hear that he arrived safely? lol. Different world, for sure. I guess they had a lot of trust in the postal carriers.

I love this story. I've never heard of the period in history when children could be mailed. I suspect many of today's parents are at times tempted to mail away their children! :)
